A six spotted Burmese moth slowly makes its way up the side of this flower. It was situated on the edge of the cliff face at the Cliffs Of Moher.

'I encourage you to tell "good news" stories. The current crisis obliges us to replan our journey, to set ourselves new rules, to discover new forms of commitment, to build on positive experiences and to reject negative ones.' ~Pope Benedict

The importance of good news is not new but we will always need gentle reminders to keep it within our sights. It is so easy to get complacent and allow negativity dominate our lives. All forms of negativity simply drain us of energy. Negative news is super quick. If there is a gap or a space anywhere, it will quickly fill it. Pope Benedict talks about re planning, rebuilding, and setting new ground rules in how we view life. Central to all of this is to prioritise all forms of good news. We need to push aside the thorns and brambles in our lives and discover those green shoots. A prayer today is to ask God to help us nurture those green shoots and all snippets of good news in our lives.
