Photo was taken near Glanmire, Co.Cork (Irl)

A sunset transforms the skyline into beautiful golden colours. The tower silhouetted, bare trees and the birds flying all add to the beauty of the moment.

What grows larger the more you take away?

A hole! The image of a hole is one that can be applied to many areas in life. In golf there is a hole in one, we talk about a hole in a shoe or jumper or we talk about plugging a hole in a wall. We also talk about holes in our spiritual lives. These are areas that we may have neglected and ignored. With time these have grown larger and more noticeable. Every hole can be filled in and the same goes for those areas in our spiritual lives that need filling. How can we do this? It can happen through some quiet time, through prayer, through reflection, through time out and through a thoughtful deed or a good word. The options are many but whichever one is chosen its best to do it in small measures.
